I don't understand this comment.

I don't know how many minutes I've stood and waited while a wash tub of moccasins dropped off into the water so I could fish around the log jam they occupied sunning themselves. Never that I remember did one swim over to where I waited on the river bank.

you want to sneak up on the fish, not the snake.  Find a happy noise level.

Outing Chat / Jardines de la Reina in Cuba
« on: March 01, 2012, 07:00:41 PM »
Mike Siegman ask me  to pass this along;

'Anybody interested in a trip to fish the Jardines de la Reina in Cuba? This is an amazing place to fly fish for tarpon, bonefish, permit and just about everyhting else (imagine the Flaoriday keys without any people). I'm heading down with a group fishing about the Halcon (mothership) from May 5th to 11th and there are a couple of spots available. Give me a call (Mike, 9073174284) to discuss. Remember there are not issues with nationality.'

Listed in WindKnots Outings for March 2006.

Something I haven't seen mentioned and Scott F did several years ago. The outing was to Greens Lake.  Put in point was near Tiki Island and kayaks were daisy chained and towed the 7 miles to Greens Lake. As I remember, worked quite well.
