I believe 3M makes a spray on foam adhesive that you can find at craft stores like Hobby Lobby or Michaels. One thing to keep in mind when putting two sheets together, be sure to put a weight or heavy book on top of the foam to ensure complete contact is made.

At least you got out on the water. That's more than I can say. When are you going to post a snap shot of Raymonds catch and, the pattern he caught it on?

That's a really nice shot of you demonstrating the "Orvis" position.

If you're going to fish Tiki at night, plan on fishing from about 2:00 am til 5:00 am. The residents down there get aggrivated when they see the kayakers come in and snipe the fish from their lights. But, most of them will have gone to bed if you wait until 2:00 am. then, around 5:00 am, start heading to the load out because the bay boats will be coming out in mass. Don't ask me how I know this.

General Discussion / Re: Straightening 80 lb test mono?
« on: January 31, 2014, 09:23:27 AM »
Puck, This is how I straighten my bite tippets for tarpon and offshore leaders....

I have a half inch diameter piece of PVC tubing with a end cap glued to 1 end, and another loose end com. I cut my leader material, usually 60 - 130 lb test in 2 foot lengths and insert them in the opem end of the PVC tubing. I heat the water just to the point of boiling and fill the tubing. NOTE: be sure and use salad or BBQ tongs to hold the tubing. Then, take loose end cap and put it on the open end and prop the tubing up in the sink. I usually wait for about 20 minutes then I'll remove the cap, pour out the warm water, remove the strands of leader matierial and wipe them dry and transfer them to another, similar tube for cooling and storage. This works well for mono but, I've found fluorocarbon might need to steep a little longsr.

I hope this helps, Chris

There are fourteen redfish in that picture...right.

Mike, If you look a little closer, there appear to be 15 redfish. Good for LA, not so much for TX, if you are just 3 sports.
