Very very Nice Dan! But you're gunna eventually wanna move the troll motor to the back. They are just too noisy in front and in the way of your fly line. Unless yur planning on fish'n CROAKERS!  My boat is nearing completion soon. Ill cover the shallow poling water, you get the deeper stuff.  We'd be ready. Tarpon start moving in another two weeks.

You still fishing with us this coming weekend?  I'm hoping for a good trip. Puck has already angered the weather God's by discussing the high potential of rain. Oh well.  Tim and I are  making our arrangements later tonight.

I heard the outgoing tides in POC were full with crabs. Can't wait as my boat is nearing completion. Hope it is ready for the Lydia ann tourney. I know it will be at redfish rodeo. I plan on fishing every chance I get with the exception of daughters wedding weekend of 17th.

I'm guess'n this highly trained group of mudhens did a fantastic job.  Post up some pics and lets see the results.  How many better yet how many returned home?

Hey Mike this is a kayak outing and you are welcome to join us.  Contact the outing leader PUCK for further information. His contact info is on the first page.

I can hear the excitement in your thread. The flats across from Baffin that sound awesome.

Hmmm, Now who just that might be?

I don't know what kind of math you use PUCK but I count two that have not signed up ::)

I figure the night fishing will be best. Any chance some one is bringing lights. I have two I use for working on roofs during nighttime.  Not green type. Stands will go up about six feet high. Or can mount on top of truck.

Wholly Moelee - Auger has a boat now?  AWESOME! What is it? The sign in sheet shows you can take one fisher with you so is it a skiff? Why didn't you use it in POC last week or is it new? This is either exciting or Bear goofed when he signed up! I'm bett'n on Door No. 2.

Puck where is this updated list you speak of. On Page 1 there is a list but it has people on it who have not signed up and it is missing people that have signed up.  I don't see Skip and Mary Kaye, Who is John C?

Tim, I'm requesting a spot in your truck if available. I can bring kayak too. I'll bring plenty of gas $$$ and we'll go over the essentials list as the outing gets closer.

Next Time you want to go and pay $500.00 or more (tip) to a guide and catch nothing do me a favor Call Me. I'll at least bring a towel for the tears. Hooo Haaaa Haaaa! you kidding me you went to fish the jetties on PoCoLoCo weekend. HAHAHAHA who talked you into that? Hopefully most of the big boats were probably gone by the time you got out on the water. Their 6-8 foot high wakes are a little daunting if you know what I mean.

Can you imagine how the fish felt with 60 or so fifty foot long offshore marlin boats hauling arse out the jetties all night long in search of a million dollars. I believe they would be shell shocked (and and to use your term) locked-down on the very bottom. I did hear the crabs were plentiful out there.  Did you use a blue crab pattern? Did you chum?  Did you try conventional tackle? What kind of boat were you in...Brett's Skiff?  Most of the guides out there are going to 24' panga's to smooth the ride a bit. Any pictures of the conditions? But knowing you Puck, bet you guys had a great time! Sorry you can't make our Club's outing this week.

I plan on doing just that!  That is the rum and relaxing. Looking forward to both nights dinner. But you have a good point how many of the group show up for dinner on time. Oh well we can always use the leftovers for chum out at the jetties on Saturday.
