Guadalupe One Fly, Saturday 17 January 2009
Join us early Saturday the 17th of January for a friendly competition to see who can catch the most rainbows as determined by the measured total inches of fish. Use Mark's ballon indicator and plop it down. We will end up a Greune Hall to discuss the veracity of the measurements and pick the winner. Go to Guad One Fly for all the details.

Trout Fishing the Lower Mountain Fork River, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday the 20th, 21st, and 22nd of February 2009
Fish for rainbows and brown trout during a three day outing to the stocked waters of the Lower Mountain Fork River near Broken Bow, Oklahoma. The Lower Mountain Fork River trout fishery has rapidly improved to become one of the top year-round trout destinations in the South. The river supports trout for the first 12 miles below Broken Bow Dam and has produced brown trout weighing over 17 pounds and rainbows weighing over 10 pounds. About 5 miles of this trout area is in the Beavers Bend State Park, offering excellent access. Go to Broken Bow Trip Information for all the details.
This year the club has scheduled a day on the water with Rob Woodruff of Woodruff Guide Service. This is a day on the river with Rob during which he will provide guidance on how to fish the various water types on the Lower Mountain Fork. You will get a bit of his entemology class, a bit of this fluviology class, and a bit of his coahing on your casting. For the avoidance of doubt - this is not an individually guided trip on the river. The first ten club new club members that sign up will be given priority for this opportunity.
